This new book is a discussion of the church-building principles Paul conveyed to Timothy and Titus in the Pastoral letters, with an eye, especially to how progressive theology is influencing life, questions of identity and doctrine in today's church.  It offers a fair critique of this prevailing theology in North America. In light of recent data related to how people are approaching Christianity, it illustrates the lasting value of the principles of church building laid out in the New Testament.
