Now, with the release of an extensively revised and expanded edition, the Elders Service Committee presents a comprehensive “how-to” guide aimed at addressing the practical challenges encountered by elders, those aspiring to shepherding roles, and the evangelists who work alongside them.

In the span of four decades, we’ve witnessed significant progress in the establishment of elderships within our movement. From the early days of navigating leadership alongside a small group of fellow elders and evangelists, we’ve gained significant experience as leaders and leadership teams. Yet, our journey continues, fueled by the understanding that church governance is a weighty responsibility guided by scriptural principles and influenced by the leading of the Holy Spirit.
