Kit Cummings

Kit Cummings has taught these principles around the world in the toughest environments. Over the past decade Kit has served in over one hundred prisons, jails, detention centers, and rehab facilities and worked with over 10,000 inmates in some of the most dangerous areas of the world. In 2020, Kit received the NAACP Living the Dream Award for his contributions to civil rights and his work with at-risk youth and prison reform. He has journeyed on tours through Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Europe, and has authored five books include the award-winning Peace Behind the Wire, a Nonviolent Resolution. In 2010, Kit founded the Power of Peace Project and continues to teach his conflict resolution programs in prisons, corporations, schools, and churches.
